This is borderline to a cosmetic bug and an UX improvement.
Opening the “Shift items by” window, force you to click into the textbox to provide input. It’s the only input control in the window, it shouldn’t need an extra step.
The flow should be: click on “Shift items by” menu item and then type the desidered amount, followed by return. No extra click should be needed.
