Problem Description + Screenshots
Lately, every time I open Aeon, I see the Update button in the top right corner. If I click on it and go through the update process, I get the usual splash screen telling me that the update has been successful and I can work without issue. BUT, the next time I open Aeon, the same thing happens. Again and again. It’s like the program forgets it’s updated between times. I haven’t noticed any sort of issue with the functionality, but the issue is an irritation. If start ignoring it, will I miss a real update when it comes? Will the ‘un-updated’ version block new updates from installing?
Steps to reproduce
Open Aeon. Open the file I’m using. See the Update button. Click on the Update button. Accept that the program will update now. See it close. Open Aeon again. See the ‘What’s New? Version 3.4.23’ splash. Close it. Open the file I’m using. Work without issues. Close the program. Open it again. Open the file I’m using. See the Update button. Again.
