I have the latest versions of Scrivener and Aeon Timeline. When I click on sync on Aeon timeline the app quits. I have tried restarting the computer and doing it with Scrivener closed but am always getting the same result. This is the first time I am trying to sync something. Any ideas/troubleshooting help is appreciated.
Hey @Diana1
If you’re comfortable with doing so, could you please email a copy of your timeline file and a zipped copy of your Scrivener file to support@aeontimeline.com
We’ll have a look and see if we can discover what’s going on.
After sending off those files, you should be able to temporarily disable syncing by moving or renaming the Scrivener file so that Aeon Timeline can’t find it.
That should allow you to open the sync settings to turn off syncing for the time being.
Hi @AeonRob I think I figured it out. I created a new file and it worked so I figured it must be something in the file I have. I started deleting folders until I found the one that crashed it. The folder contained emojis as a visual guide. As soon as I deleted them all the file was successfully imported without Aeon Timeline crashing. So, I guess Aeon does not like if the Scrivener has parts with emojis. Therefore a suggestion → to support emojis in an update =)
