Any way to quickly compare Narrative and Timeline sequence?

I want to keep my narrative view the same as my timeline view when looking at my Timeline in Aeon and my project in Scrivener they reflect the same order. I currently check this periodically by opening two views side by side, one showing Outline and the Spreadsheet. I then start at the top and click on each item in order in Outline view and make sure that in Spreadsheet view it doesn’t jump. This works but it’s tedious. I’m wondering if there’s any quicker way to find discrepancies between the two?

Tom, I put in a feature request a few weeks ago along these lines. I wanted to be able to have the Subway view toggle to show either the Spreadsheet order of things or the Narrative/Outline order of things. I agree that it’s tedious to constantly conform the Spreadsheet events to comport with the Narrative/Outline events just to be able to view my story’s narrative order in the Subway view. The developers have indicated a willingness to consider this feature.

Thanks Steve. That would be a much better solution than what I do now—I could show each view in separate horizontal panes and then just scan for any places where they don’t line up. Fingers crossed …
