Combining Templates

I am using Timeline 3 to map out a very large and complex project. The project is made of multiple ‘Threads’ of activities, which produce intermediate results which then combine to produce more complex outcomes. ‘Threads’ have certain unifying ‘themes’, which vary greatly from thread to thread.

I have looked at the Fiction Template and the Project Management Template, and it seems to me that I would need a combination of the two. I need Projects, Tasks and Milestones, which do not appear in the Fiction Template, and I would need Technologies, Story Arcs, Themes and Events, which do not appear on the Project Management Template.

Is it possible to combine the two Templates, to make both sets of Objects available?

No it currently isn’t possible to combine two templates together. If you wish to use the types from both you would have to open a file in one template, and then manually add the other item types that you would want in Advanced Settings (Click on the cog icon to open Settings, then Data Types tab, then Edit).
