Hi Diana,
Is it possible to delete a template that I created? If so , how do I do it?
To delete templates via the Custom Templates tab on our app-wide preferences/settings, which can be accessed via the following menus:
On Mac:
- Aeon Timeline > Settings…
On Windows:
It is better to do it there than by directly deleting them via Windows Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac), because if you just delete the file the app may still show it in the list of templates.
I created a template but I am not getting the option to unclick the “Include example content” (which is a lot) It is currently greyed out. That option is available with the pre-made ones. . How can this be fixed?
For the default templates we include in the app, we actually create separate templates for “include example content” and “without example content”, because it isn’t always a case of just deleting all items (sometimes we keep some placeholder groups or categories in place).
So while there isn’t the option for including/excluding example content for custom templates, you could do something similar by saving 2 copies of the custom template - one with items included, and one with them left out (when you choose “Save as Template”, you can choose which items to include… so creating a template with none of those item types ticked will mean the saved template will be empty).
