Deleting Events Doesn't Delete Associated Media

I have a timeline file which contains a lot of media and is is 1.3GB. I deleted 50% of the events but the file is still 1.3GB.

I deleted all backups for the file which didn’t help.

Can anyone else confirm this bug? Is there a way to see what/if any media is saved within the timeline file?

I have 800+ events so deleting media from each event separately is impossible.

I’m sorry that you have encountered this.

It looks like it is a bug, I have passed it onto the developers to look into.
