Downloading older versions of 3.4?

Is there a place I could download an older version? I didn’t like the 3.5 being forced updated, which brought some bugs. And on top of that I don’t see any options for turning off auto-update on 3.5 (I don’t remember if I ever toggled it off or not in 3.4) Specifically I’d like 3.4.23

Hi Aeon Team Support,

Another message today

I’m continuing to experience and discover new issues throughout the day after updating to 3.5.35, which is why I would prefer to revert to a 3.4.x version for now.

The latest issue I’ve identified is that the update has introduced problems in the Inspector fields, particularly with Custom Relationship Types and Item Types:

Some of my Custom Relationship Types no longer appear in the “Relationship Types” tab in the Settings section, and are also missing in the “Add or Edit Fields” window of the Inspector, so I cannot manage or reorder them as they have disappeared. I have the impression this happens when a Custom Relationship Type has exactly the same name as an Item Field. Maybe it’s just the fatigue from the day, but it really seems like this update has gotten things mixed up.

Because of this, I had to stop my work, and I’ll investigate further tomorrow to better understand and isolate the issues in order to file a bug report (but that’s it for me today ).

Like Soyjak, I was surprised by the forced update to 3.5. For now, I would really appreciate knowing if it’s possible to access an older stable version (ideally 3.4.23), so that if I don’t find a solution tomorrow, I can continue working safely on the previous version.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best

I can confirm that the v35 update creates quite a bit of confusion at first, mainly because item types have been added by default to the Inspector fields for some item types, but not for others. Overall, though, it looks very promising, with many improvements and great options.

In my case, this was especially confusing because I had custom relationship fields that used the same names as some item types. During the update, the two were merged, which resulted in the custom type with the same name being removed from the list of custom relationship fields in the project settings.

That said, I was able to reorganize all the Inspector fields across my entire project, and I’ll continue working with this new version. The new display options in the Inspector are really great, even though there are still a number of small UI bugs here and there that create some friction in daily use (especially when moving fields within the Inspector).

In any case, thanks to the Aeon team, and have a good day.

Hi @Soyjak, I’ve sent you an email regarding rolling back to 3.4, as we’d need some account information from you. Please let me know if it doesn’t come through.

Never mind the bugs got fixed with .36
