Event notes not syncing with Scrivener

Problem Description + Screenshots

The notes property of an event does not sync with the notes section of the document in Scrivener. Other fields that claim to sync, i.e. summary work fine.

Steps to reproduce

Set up syncing to a basic scrivener project. Create an event. Type in an event summary and you’ll see the sync icon change to indicate changes. Do the same by typing in notes and it does not. Forcing a change on a different property still doesn’t sync the notes.

Answer the following questions, if possible:

  • Are you able to reproduce this bug reliably? Yes
  • Can you make this bug happen with a clean timeline file? Not Tested
  • Does it only happen with a specific timeline file? Not Tested

Any relevant files? No.

Update: my bad I just spotted it is syncing as a property called notes under the Scrivener metadata tab. Is there any way to make it use the existing notes section rather than a separate property? i.e. I’d expect to see my summary and notes on the notes tab. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately no, there isn’t a way to sync to the existing Notes in Scrivener, as this uses rich text, and ours do not.
