The fonts/types in the sub meny shown in the image attached is unreadable.
It is only the “Show types on timeline” sub-meny that have this problem.
Thanks for reporting this, I have passed it onto the developers to look into.
In the meantime, you can select what types to show on the Timeline manually in Advanced Settings.
Open Settings (the cog icon), then the Data Types tab, then Edit.
Click on each item type that you want to display on the Timeline on the left, and choose the “Timeline View” under the “Show In” menu on the right.
