File->Open Recent is always blank

Not a biggie, but the most recent files list never remembers the last projects I’ve been using.

Problem Description + Screenshots

Create a project, save it then close Timeline.
Re-open timeline and the File->Open Recent menu option is blank.

I would like to hear of any resolution to this, which I suspect may be a problem with a MacOS plist file.

In my case, “save as” in any application, not just Aeon, shows a bunch of grayed-out folders which used to exist. I think they are related to old Finder favorites of yore, but I can’t figure out how to clear them.
