How can I change the "Today" or "Now" date?

I’ll keep it simple. Since the Version 3, there’s a new feature showing a “Today” line in the Timeline. I can’t find a way to change it since it’s wrong, and it’s a feature I’d really like to be able to use.

You can change the date that the “Today” line is on to a fixed point in time if you don’t want it tracking live. You can do this in Settings (the cog icon), by ticking the box “For ongoing item calculations, override current date/time with” in the Calendar and Date tab and choosing the date you wish to set.
Just to clarify, when you say that the date is wrong, do you mean it is wrong for your purposes (eg. your story is set at a different time, but you want the Today line to mark the present time of that story), or is it actually wrong in that it is not display the current date/time? If it is the latter we would like to know so we can look into why this is happening.

It’s hard to know since my story is in a Fantasy World with a different calendar. So I guess it’s trying to convert the real “Today” in my custom calendar, amd that’s why it doesn’t really makes sense. I will try what you suggested and get back to you asap of it solves it, but I’m pretty sure that’s what I was missing. Thank you.

Thanks for the advice on how to do this. Really helpful. It would be good if you could set this as a moveable “today” line.
