I know I can create an item and then drag on top of another one to make it its parent, but I was wondering if it was possible to create a child item directly under a given parent.
For example, I would expect pressing Command + Enter to do this, but it simply selects the item below.
If you already have a child inside a parent item, then in Spreadsheet View you can select the child and hit Cmd + n(Mac) or Ctrl+n( Windows) to create another child item under it.
But it can’t be done for top level items, or ones that don’t have any children yet.
It also can’t be done in Timeline View.
We are looking at potentially adding right-click menu support, at which time the option to “Create Child” for a parent would possibly be added there.
