How do I create officers/positions for states

Hi there!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE version 3. So many COOL features!

I have one question, I have created a state (STATE) and then I also created a person (PERSON); PERSON was a president of the STATE for two non consecutive terms.
I know I could create an events that start on the day on which PERSON became president and end on the day on which they gave way to the next president (EVENT_A). But if I do this I think that every event related to STATE during PERSON’s time as president would have to be a child of EVENT_A.

Is there any better way to do this?

You could create an item type called „presidency“ or whatever and then create items like „presidency of Mr. X“. Then you could relate the events that happen during this time to that item. This way you could filter for all items related to „presidency of Mr. X“, you could show this relationship on the item cards etc.

That is exactly what I started doing as a proof of concept to see if it would work for me and it does!!
