When I view the sample Murder on the Orient Express project in the Mindmap view, I see the helpful horizontal color strip with each node, like this:
But when I do it, the color strip is missing, like this:
How do I get the color strip to show?

Following up, I see that when adding characters to a parent item, they are identified in the Mindmap with those color strips, so I guess I’m closing in on this question. Is there anything in the knowledge base that addresses this?
Yes you are correct, these strips indicate the parent of the item on the Mindmap View.
