In Spreadsheet mode, if I designate an Event and give it a date, it shows up in the Timeline.
But in Spreadsheet mode, I change the Event to an Invention, it disappears. Why?
Or what do I do to control this behavior??
By default, Invention item types are not shown on Timeline View, which is why it disappears.
This is configured in Advanced Settings (Advanced Settings - Aeon Timeline 3 Knowledge Base)
Open Settings (the cog icon), then the Data Types tab, then Edit.
On the list on the left, click on Invention. If you scroll down the Panel on the right, you will see the heading “Show In”. Tick the “Timeline View” box to have Inventions shown on the timeline.
