Independent view scaling

Hi,
I’ve been an Aeon Timeline user since 2021 and I can’t imagine working without this tool. I think the pricing model — a one-time purchase plus optional paid updates — is more than fair.

I’m aware that there’s probably a long queue of feature requests already, but I’d be happy to join it. I’d like to ask for one simple thing: independent scaling of views (Workview Zoom). For example, I’d love to be able to have the timeline view scaled to 50% while keeping the spreadsheet view at 90%. I often switch between these views, and each time I have to zoom in or out manually, which gets frustrating over time.

According to @AeonRob , the forthcoming AT 3.5 version will feature tabbed views that are individually customizable. See https://youtu.be/NkY_YtpYJ4w?si=iMwODyOzAGz-j3E2&t=16.

Though he doesn’t expressly say that the view scale will be unique to each tab, he certainly implies it. I’ve got a fiver that says it will be. :slight_smile:

Hi @DuchGB yes, I can confirm that the scaling of each view is independently adjustable in version 3.5 :raised_hands: You can have the timeline scaled to 90%, and the spreadsheet scaled to 50%, or whatever you want.

You can also have multiple versions of the timeline set to different scale levels.
