When I have a split view with the timeline in each view, if I change the filter for one, it changes for both. Is it possible to have different filters apply to each split view?
Also I notice that when I select an event in one view, the same event is selected in the other view. Is it possible to select different events in each of the split views?
Yes it is possible to have a different filter in each view.
When you open the filter panel, you will see at the top two tabs, “All Views” and “Focused View”.
If you apply a filter when “All Views” is the current tab, then the filter will apply to all views.
If you instead click on “Focused View” and apply a filter, then it only applies to the current view in focus (click one of the split views to put it in focus).
There isn’t a way to select different events in different views, when you are selecting an event you are selecting it for the entire project. You can select multiple events at once, but they will always be selected in whatever view they are displayed in.
