Just Days of a Year (Monthless Calendar)?

I apologize if this has been asked before, but I couldn’t find anything like it on here through searches.

Is it possible to create a calendar that is functionally monthless? With a standard Gregorian calendar, this would format today’s date of July 11, 2022 as Day 192 of 2022 or the like.

More specifically, I’m trying to create a fictional calendar that could render a date like July 11, 2022 as 192.022 or something similar to that. Is that at all possible? If so, how would I set that up?

You can get such a time count by setting up your calendar so that the year has a single month with 365 days. For the display you have to experiment a bit, naming this month for example “year” or “day”.
