I’m looking forward to the Tabbed Views feature being introduced in the upcoming version 3.5.
To manage my writing workflow, I make ample use of keyboard shortcuts. In the current version, each view is assigned to a keyboard shortcut. For example, to bring up the Outline view, I can use Ctrl+6
.
I wonder how this will work in 3.5, where we can create customized Tabbed Views.
In @AeonRob’s preview video showing features of the upcoming version 3.5, he understandably doesn’t go into this kind of detail, as it’s a quick overview of new features.
As a feature request, I would like each tabbed view that has been created to be assignable to a keyboard shortcut.
I assign keyboard shortcuts to a button on Stream Deck, but others who don’t use this approach could benefit from having keyboard shortcuts to quickly navigate their customized tabbed views. This could be increasingly helpful for writers who will create many tabbed views, especially for those of us writing a novel series in one AT project.
