  2. Edit constraint - change item
  3. Move selected item
After step 3 bug shows: the item is not moved, no dates (Start and End), I have to Search the item correct or remove.

Are you able to reproduce this bug reliably? YES
Can you make this bug happen with a clean timeline file? N/A
Does it only happen with a specific timeline file? N/A

Hi @Jan,

Thank you for reporting this. We’re sorry for the issues you’re experiencing, and the impact this has had on your work.

So far, we unfortunately haven’t been able to reproduce the issue on our end.

If you’re comfortable doing so, could you please send a copy of your timeline file to support@aeontimeline.com so we can investigate further?

If your file contains sensitive information, a couple of options are:

  1. Create a copy of your file and remove everything except one example constraint pair that triggers the issue, then send that trimmed-down copy.
  2. Create a new blank timeline, then copy and paste an example constraint pair into the new file. If the problem still occurs there, then undo back to before moving the selected item triggers the bug, and send that new minimal file.

Thanks again. Once we can reproduce the problem, we’ll get it resolved as soon as possible.

Dear Rebecca

(Attachment Test123.aeon is missing)

Did you send the file to Rebecca at support@aeontimeline.com?

Steve,

I acted on “reply to this email to respond.” The email was from Rebecca.
I got the reply “Details:
Test123.aeon: Sorry, the file you are trying to upload is not authorized (authorized extensions: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, heic, heif, webp, aeontpl, mov).”

How can I attach the aeon file?

Regards,

Jan

From experience, I believe @Rebecca wants you to create your own separate email and address it to support@aeontimeline.com. Be sure to attach the file before sending.

I’m not affiliated with the company but it’s a familiar misunderstanding–you’re not the first.

Hi Steve,

Cab you provide the attached aeon file to the right person?

Regards,

Hi Jan,

It didn’t come through. The main idea is to get the file (or a link to download it) to support@aeontimeline.com.

Good luck!

Hi Steve,

I did send the attachment as a reply to you and to support@aeontimeline.com
You should see that I suppose in the email message.

Jan

I’m just another user, like you. I’m sure they’ll be back to you.

Sorry for the misunderstanding — I replied to Rebecca via the email I received. This clutters the forum.

No worries. It happens all the time.
