Only Syncs Labels one direction

I’m just testing out the Scrivener Sync, I didn’t change the names of the Aeon Color Labels, they just had the original color names. In Scrivener all of the label colors synced fine, but I change the names of the Labels in Scrivener, I didn’t change the actual color. I saved it and closed it.

Then I went to Aeon and chose to Sync Now, but instead of changing all of the names of the labels, it just reversed the changes I had made in Scrivener, because when I go back, they are back to the names of the colors.

I don’t think this is the way Sync should be working. If I make a change in Aeon the change should be made in Scrivener when I sync, then when I make a change in Scrivener, it should change in Aeon when I choose Sync.

It seems dumb to have to manually change the Label names in Aeon, so that they will match the Label names in Scrivener.

Hi! Do you use those labels in Manuscript?

No, they are the Scrivener labels that have a color dot and a name. You can have them visible in the Binder and on the Index cards. The associated labels in Aeon Timeline are called “Colors” and they also have names.

We agree that this doesn’t sound like the way that the sync should be working, so I have created a ticket for our developers to look into this.

I use them by myself. And those ones which I use in Manuscript sync correctly. But you are right it would be more convinient to sync all of them.
