Pricing disparity

Hi support

I was just about to renew my timeline for another 12 months. On the website pricing it says that it costs $35.

When I try to renew, my cost is shown as £35. This equates to $45.

Bit miffed, $35 is not the same as £35

Hi,

The app that you are using to renew, is it downloaded from the App Store, or from our website?

It may be there is a difference in how Apple deals with currency conversions and taxes. Payments made through the app downloaded from the App Store goes through Apple, payments made through the app downloaded from our website go through a different company.

Testing on the version downloaded through our website charges £25.99 if you are located in the UK.
If you are using the version downloaded from our website and are not seeing this, are you able to show a screenshot of what you are seeing? You can also send it through to support@timeline.app if you wish to correspond via email instead.

Hi Jess

Thanks for your helpful reply. It was the version of timeline from your website that I was going through to renew, at which point it was coming up £35.

I’ve just check this morning and it’s coming up £25.99, which is what I was expecting to see. Thanks for sorting this out, I’ve just purchased.
