Random (almost) out of sync events with scrivener

Frequently events go out of sync with scrivener. Syncing repeatedly does not solve it. Usually it happens to one or a few events after I’ve fiddled with their text in scrivener. It looks like its the name (label) that is out of sync, although they are exactly the same in Aeon and Scrivener.

I’ve found one way of solving it and that is by changing the name of the scene i Scrivener and create a sync conflict. When I choose which name is correct in Aeon and sync again then that scene/event is in sync again and if I don’t touch it it will not bother me any more.

It might well be something I’m doing wrong, but it is quite annoying because it is happening every few hours to me.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I’m sorry you are having problems with your syncing process.

To clarify, you are getting the sync binder saying that there are name changes between an event in Aeon Timeline and a document in Scrivener (even though they show the same name), and when you try to sync, nothing happens?
It is only when you create a conflict that it allows you to sync?

This is also happening randomly when you haven’t changed the names at all?

If this is the case, if this occurs again, are you able to send through your timeline file and scrivener project to support@timeline.app ? This will help us work out what the issue is. You can just send through the .scrivx file for your Scrivener project if you wish, which only contains the binder contents and custom metadata (not the content of the actual files).

You can access this file on Mac by right-clicking and choose “Show Package Contents”

OK, sent you the files now. It only took a few changes to get out of sync and not being able to sync it clear.
