Recurring events

I was using Aeon Timeline for creating a view our our company’s development cycle. When adding recurring meetings such as Sprint Planning (once every two weeks) and Daily Scrums, I noticed that I couldn’t create some sort of repeat schedule. Seems like a significant limitation to me. So I’d like to suggest this feature.

And while we’re at it, also add some sort of short code for the naming of recurring events. For example, if I use the shortcode \[week number\] in the label or short label of an item, like this:

Sprint Planning Wk\[week number\]

And I set this to repeat every two weeks, then I would see instances on the timeline like this:

  • Sprint Planning Wk1
  • Sprint Planning Wk3
  • Sprint Planning Wk5
  • etc.

I’d really like this feature! I want to keep track of things like phases of the moon, which have an impact in my story.

EDIT: Scratch that. I just discovered Markers :grinning:

The problem with Markes is that they become overwhelming very fast! Unlike events, they cannot be filtered or hidden, so now my timeline is full of repeating markers and anniversaries… which is what i wanted (technically) but when i zoom out a little bit it looks hideous…
