When syncing Aeon Timeline with Scrivener, the scenes included in the Narrative view are the main thing that is copied across.
In the plot grid template, the first column in the spreadsheet contains events that have also been added as scenes in the narrative. These scenes will appear in the manuscript folder in Scrivener when you sync.
The remaining columns in the spreadsheet (the subplots) are actually properties attached to each event that aren’t synced in the same way.
The setup for syncing properties is done in the properties section in the sync settings (see image below). If you have metadata fields already created in Scrivener, you can select them here, but it’s normally easier to choose “Create New” and they’ll be created for you when you click sync now.
To see these properties in Scrivener, select one of the scenes in your manuscript and click the metadata tab on the right. If all has gone to plan, they should be there in the Custom Metadata field.
