If I set up my manuscript to have Multiple Books in one project could I sync this with Aeon Timeline and tag each book with a unique tag to filter the timeline to view one book at a time.
Another Question. Can I sync multiple different Scrivener Projects to Aeon Timeline as long as each timeline with a unique name is synced to only one Scrivener Project?
My perspective is a newbie who is learing the program on the trial basis and deciding about purchasing (Honestly, pretty much decided, yes).
Did not see an obvious similar question.
Great questions.
Sure, you could use tags to filter the Timeline view according to a particular book. In this screenshot, I show it being used to filter tags according to story beats. Same idea.
A given AT3 project can sync with only one Scrivener project. The Scrivener project, though, can have a folder structure where there are multiple books, which could make sense if the books, such as a novel series, have common elements to track. To use AT3 with multiple Scrivener projects, you would need to maintain multiple AT3 projects, one per Scrivener project.
Thanks. I am updating my date tags in scrivener to custom metadata text fields do you think scriv status values could also tag books as well?
I’ve never tried this, but in theory, yes, since you can sync the Scrivener status values to AT3 as mentioned at Scrivener and Ulysses Syncing - Aeon Timeline Knowledge Base.
