Has anyone used Aeon to keep track of medical stuff? Specifically, I’m getting chemotherapy and need to keep track of all the side effects, but I want to see how these change over time. If there isn’t a template available, does anyone have suggestions for the best way to approach this kind of data tracking?
Thank you in advance.
Not seen anything like that. I had chemo for bladder cancer, luckily only 4 heavy doses than surgery (13 years ago). I wish you the best of luck. You could make each treatment date an event and then create a category for chemotherapy agents (plus/minus radiation) and for each event add the chemo used for that treatment. Now create a category for Side effects and give each one a name and again tag events by which one occurs. If delayed ones like dropping white cell counts or hair loss, I would add those when they occur. These could be side effect events, like the nadir of your white cell count (when the number bottoms out)
For novels under properties (See when click the cogwheel in the upper right (settings) I add a new entry which is a text field called Story Notes which appears on the Inspector for each event. This could be created with a title of side effects in the properties area allowing you to specify in detail what occurred on a particular day to track. This can or cannot be displayed on the timeline. You can use the filter to even track specific chemo agents or side effects.
Best wishes and luck on your journey. Don’t be afraid to be your own advocate and ask questions. When your life is on the line no question is dumb.
Played with a mockup idea.
Thank you so much! This is very helpful, not just for the tips on using Aeon, but for health advocacy too! Sending blessings of continued health and happiness
