I’m wondering if there’s an easy way to handle uncertain boundaries. It would be really handy when the exact dates are imprecise.
In this screenshot, I’ve set up an example item with “uncertain” start and end dates. I really like how this is displayed visually, but I’ve noticed that if you drag the boundaries visually, the “latest start” and “earliest end” dates do not move along with it. Ideally, the “uncertainty” offset would maintain its size when you move the outer boundaries rather than staying fixed.
Also, it does not seem to be possible to grab the “latest start” or “earliest end” visual points with the mouse and drag them. The only way to adjust them seems to be to type in the literal date and hope it visually shows up in the spot that looks about right.
Any chance we could get a bit of love in the UI regarding these uncertain dates? It’s a fantastic feature no other timeline software supports, and it would be even better if we could physically grab the boundaries with the mouse and adjust them.
