I already mentioned my little series of tutorials which are in german. As immediately some English speakers found them and asked for English versions, I decided to do at least one showing the new features.
Now thatās somewhat irritating: Iāve 341 viewers for my videos by now (great!) of which 100% were male (crazy). Donāt women use the software was well? Donāt they use videos as a ressource? Very strange.
I prefer text instructions and the poke method
I have a question about subtitles. I donāt know anything about how YouTube works.
But is it possible to add subtitles in another language?
Is it possible to somehow download the text of English subtitles and translate it?
I had to learn this as well. If you upload a video, you can let youtubesā text recognition create subtitles. Than you can let its translation ai translate these subtitles. So for my german videos I have subtitles based on an automated translation which is based on an automated speech recognition. It works better than I would have expected, but it does some weird stuff.
I could probably add other languages (russian?) as well this way.
I think the auto-translation may be somewhat inaccurate
