I have a timeline which is 6 years long I would like to be able to view only certain periods at a time, for example events in 2024 only or January 2024.
Not only does this help to focus on relevant events, it’s helpful when exporting as you can export different years (months/weeks etc…) to different sheets.
I’ve tried using the DATES / TIMELINE DATE RANGE but it doesn’t seem to make any difference to what I’m trying to achieve.
why not set calendar markers at the beginning of the associated time periods and will see the option to scroll to date to quickly move to various wide spread points on the timeline.
Hi @Justalex It is already possible to set the scrollable date range of the timeline in the way that you’re hoping, but it won’t exclude any parts of the timeline containing events.
If there are events spanning the entirety of 2024 and you want to focus in on January 2024, try using a filter to set the earliest and latest date to hide anything outside that before setting the scrollable date range.
