In Scrivener, your labels can have the same color. In Aeon, you can make two of the same colors but you can only select one of them (It will just select the color which is first), even if they have different names. I have labels in Scrivener with Show Background Color In Binder that are the same color but with different names and I have not had any issue with this, so I want to know why you can’t do the same in Aeon Timeline. I’m on the free trial and still trying to learn how to use this program. Any answer is appreciated.
In Aeon Timeline, you should be able to make two colours with the same ‘colour’, but different labels, and choose either one for an item’s colour.
When you are saying you can only select one of them, are you referring to the colour selection in Aeon Timeline in general, or the colour selection during the syncing process with Scrivener?
If it is to do with syncing, are you able to post a screenshot of the Sync Settings pages to see how it is configured? A screenshot of the “Colors” tab in Aeon Timeline settings would also be helpful.
In “Default Item Color”, selecting a color that is the same as another selects the one that is first on the list, rather than the one you selected. This happens even if they have different labels. I haven’t seen this issue happening outside of the default item color selection.
Thanks for reporting this, it looks like a bug, I have passed it onto the developers to look into.
